Your messages, read aloud
ANDROID · BETA
Hear the people who matter while your hands are busy. Choose the conversations. Choose the voice. Listen on your phone.
No AffinityVoice account. No ads in the current beta.
Just talk. Your own words are enough.
Start with an installed offline device voice. Or open Voice Lab, record a voice you have permission to use, and create a local voice profile.
Speak freely or choose a script. Check the microphone, record, then preview a phrase with a compatible downloaded model.
A model is the speech engine. A profile is the reference voice. The same recording can work with compatible models, with different sound and processing time.
Your reference recording stays on your phone for speech generation.
One conversation. Everyone. Or just this message.
Choose a contact or conversation, assign its voice and turn on Auto-Read. Set a timer when you only want to listen for a while.
Global Auto-Read includes new conversations. Turn it off to return to your individual choices. Mute all stops automatic reading; timers keep running.
An inactive conversation can offer a short-lived Read aloud invitation. Accept it to hear and save that message.
Beta interface shown with a fictional contact.
Use installed offline device voices first. Custom speech models are optional downloads, separate from the app. The current beta candidate includes Pocket TTS, Qwen Compact, Qwen Original and Chatterbox. The Models screen shows download sizes and installed status.
Custom speech uses time, memory and battery. Jobs shows progress, interruptions and results while you use the app. A complete message is prepared before playback. Optional volume normalization helps balance loudness between voices.
Eligible messages and generated audio can be kept locally for replay. You choose when to delete history, recordings, profiles or model packs. Model-download providers receive connection metadata when you request a model; message content and reference recordings are not uploaded for speech generation.

AffinityVoice reads what supported messaging apps include in their notifications. It cannot recover hidden text or automatically retrieve your complete message history. Select contacts for setup, or manually import a supported backup file.
Device speed, memory, Android restrictions and audio routing affect results. Bluetooth, secure-lock behavior and wireless Android Auto still need device-specific testing. Apple CarPlay is not supported.
The next Play beta update is being prepared. Access depends on the testing track and tester enrollment; this page does not offer a public download or promise immediate access.
